Like a mirror, these new occupations and new jobs clearly reflect the new trends of industrial transformation and the new needs of social development, and also open up a new track for employment for workers.
At present, under the guidance of digital and intelligent technology and driven by high-quality life, innovative technology application solutions and scenarios are being launched, and the replacement of various positions is significantly accelerated. Timely standardized identification of these occupations from the national level will help enhance practitioners' sense of occupational belonging and expand workers' employment choices.
"The 17 new occupations and 42 new occupations that were solicited publicly for opinions from the public were screened from nearly 400 suggestions collected by the society at a time, and were concluded through expert review and demonstration and written solicitation of opinions from relevant departments of the central and state organs." A relevant person in charge of the Vocational Capacity Building Department of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security introduced.
"Compared with the previous two years, the number of new occupations announced this time remains stable, but the number of new occupations has increased significantly, with as many as 42, which is the largest number in recent years." The person in charge introduced that this shows that the new occupations certified in the past few years are relatively accurate and show a good development trend. At the same time, as new technologies are widely used, the connotation of the original profession is richer, and the division of labor under the profession is more refined.
For example, since last year, as the artificial intelligence model continues to iterate and upgrade and accelerates its empowerment of thousands of industries, the scale of employees has increased rapidly and the demand for jobs has become more diverse. In order to adapt to the new trend, this time, the "general artificial intelligence system tester" job was added under the profession of "general artificial intelligence system application" and the "general artificial intelligence animation producer" job was added under the profession of "animation producer".

Since the launch of the solicitation of new occupations in 2018, the number of new occupations applied for by relevant institutions and units has increased rapidly, but from the national standards, not all new positions can be considered new occupations.
"The new profession we recognize refers to an occupation that is not included in the National Occupational Classification Ceremony but has a certain scale of practitioners and has relatively independent and mature professional and skill requirements. It needs to meet the conditions in terms of sociality, stability, uniqueness, etc.," said the person in charge.
After public notice, solicitation of opinions, modification and improvement, these professions will eventually be included in the national occupational classification ceremony, and relevant practitioners will be able to enjoy relevant national policies and treatment in accordance with regulations. Next, the human resources and social security department will also develop and formulate corresponding national vocational standards to provide guidance for enterprises, training institutions, etc. to carry out vocational education and training and talent evaluation.
Since 2019, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has released 6 batches of 93 new occupations to the public. Data shows that a number of new professions such as homestay housekeepers, online anchors, robot engineering and technicians have attracted many workers to join, especially those who are favored by young people.
The endless new applications of technology, new consumption demand, and new market changes are making the word "professional" unlimited possibilities. More and more resilient and motivated people are keenly capturing new market demands and striving to find new career paths.
