The 3-day 2025 China Robot Competition and Robo-Cup Robot World Cup China Championship were recently held at the Yanqi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center in Beijing. The competition attracted 233 teams from 73 universities and 264 primary and secondary school teams across the country to participate, with a total number of 1,593 people reporting, and a total of 32 championship teams, 30 runner-up teams and 25 third-tier teams.

Since its establishment in 1999, the event has been held for 26 consecutive sessions. This competition keeps up with the forefront of technology in project settings, and is divided into university group and youth group. The university group sets four major events and 11 minor events, including RoboCup football robot competition, rescue robot, and RoboCup@Home, covering all-round technical challenges from simulation to entity; the youth group includes 11 major events and 36 minor events, including robot football competition, dance competition, rescue competition, fun time travel, space journey.
Among them, the Huairou District Education Commission organized the selection of 25 teams and 59 students to participate in three events including fun crossing and cavalry patrol, winning 4 championships, 3 runner-ups and 1 third place.
Li Shaoyuan, vice chairman of the China Automation Association, said: "Technological innovation is the core element of developing new quality productivity. This competition not only provides a platform for exchanges and learning for participating teachers and students, but also an important way to cultivate innovative thinking, practical ability and stimulate technological enthusiasm."
