Pakistan and India announce ceasefire

Xinhua News Agency Islamabad/Colombo, May 10 (Reporter Jiang Chao and Wu Yue) Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar said on social media on the 10th that Pakistan and India agreed to an immediate ceasefire. On the same day, Indian diplomatic secretary Tang Yongsheng announced that India reached a ceasefire agreement with Pakistan.

  In an interview with Pakistani media that afternoon, Dahl said that after the military hotline between Pakistan and India was opened, the two countries' military forces had communicated, and the two sides agreed to a ceasefire at 16:30 Islamabad time on the 10th (17:00 New Delhi time). What has been achieved this time is not a local ceasefire, but a full ceasefire.

  The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a brief statement on the same day saying that Pakistan has always been committed to maintaining regional peace and security, and has never given up Pakistan's sovereignty and territorial integrity in its efforts to pursue peace.

  On the same day, Indian diplomatic secretary Tang Yongsheng said at a press conference that the Indian and Pakistani military had a call on the afternoon of the 10th. Both sides agreed that from 17:00 New Delhi time, both sides will stop all land, sea and air shooting and military operations. India and Pakistan have instructed to implement the ceasefire agreement. Senior Indian and Pakistani generals will meet again on the 12th.

  After the two sides announced a ceasefire, the Civil Aviation Administration of Pakistan immediately issued an announcement announcing that Pakistan has fully resumed airspace opening, and that all airports and flights of all types across the country will resume normal operations.
