IT Home reported on May 11 that research institution TECHCET issued a statement revealing that driven by the recovery of the semiconductor market, lithographic materials revenue is expected to grow by 7% in 2025 to reach US$5.06 billion (IT Home Note: the current exchange rate is approximately RMB 36.646 billion) .
The agency said the growth was mainly caused by a significant increase in demand for photoresist , with EUV photoresist expected to grow by 30% year-on-year. As chip production increases (especially the production of advanced node devices in the fields of logic chips and DRAM chips increases), auxiliary materials and expansion materials will also usher in strong growth.

According to TECHCET data, lithographic materials revenue increased by 1.6% in 2024 (last year), reaching US$4.74 billion (current exchange rate is approximately RMB 34.328 billion). Among them, EUV photoresist performed the most outstandingly, with a year-on-year increase of 20%. Both auxiliary materials and expansion materials performed well, with an increase of 2% respectively.
Looking ahead, the lithographic materials market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6% by 2029. In the future, market development will be affected by the trend of supply chain localization. Major markets in many places around the world will each build new facilities to develop innovative technologies such as dry photoresist deposition and nanoimprint lithography.
