According to the State Food and Drug Administration, on May 13, the 36th Medical Economic Information Release Conference was held in Guangzhou. Xu Jinghe, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the State Food and Drug Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Xu Jinghe said that over the years, the national drug supervision system has always followed the "four strictest" principles, continuously strengthened high-efficiency supervision, ensured high-level security, promoted high-quality development, and continuously improved the scientific, legal, international and modern supervision. We must fully implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, implement the "Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Comprehensively Deepening the Supervision Reform of Drugs and Medical Devices to Promote the High-Quality Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry", deepen drug supervision reform throughout the process, build a solid bottom line of drug safety in all aspects, and support the high-quality development of the industry in the entire chain, and make greater contributions to protecting and promoting public health.

The meeting will release a number of reports on scientific supervision and promotion of high-quality development and industrial economic operation. Relevant departments and units of the State Food and Drug Administration and some responsible persons from the Provincial Food and Drug Administration attended the meeting.
