Recently, the authoritative brand reference book "Construction Construction Manual (Sixth Edition)" in my country's engineering construction field, which was jointly participated by more than 100 large construction groups and more than 1,000 senior industry experts, was officially published.

  The "Construction Manual" is hailed as one of the "Ten Works to Promote my country's Scientific and Technological Progress". As the foundational work of the construction technology of New China, the "Construction and Construction Manual" was approved by the State Administration of Construction Engineering (the predecessor of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development) in 1973, organized by China Construction Industry Press, and compiled by key colleges, construction enterprises and scientific research units in thirteen provinces and cities across the country. It took seven years to polish it and was published in the first edition in 1980. Since its publication, it has undergone many revisions and reprints (second edition in 1988, third edition in 1997, fourth edition in 2003, fifth edition in 2012), with a total sales of more than 3 million copies.

  The revision of the sixth edition was launched in 2019, and all participating units organized competent forces and authoritative experts to participate in it in depth. According to the needs of construction technology and national development situation, the editorial board added new chapters such as "green construction", "information construction", "prefabricated concrete construction", and "wood structure engineering" to the revision of this edition. The series has a total of 6 volumes and 10.594 million words. Compared with previous versions, this round of revisions has increased the number of review experts, with more than 200 experts participating in the review of the manual, which better ensures the accuracy and authority of the manual content. At the same time, in order to adapt to the work needs of the digital age, members of the "Regulations and Standards Knowledge Service Platform in the Field of Housing and Urban-Rural Development" and "Construction Knowledge AI" will be given along with the book. Through the "Regulations and Standards Platform", regulations and standards in the field of construction can be reviewed efficiently and accurately. "Construction Knowledge AI" provides professional and technical knowledge support based on regulations, standards and job knowledge in the field of construction. With systematic technology integration, the new version of the manual deeply analyzes construction specifications and provides detailed guidance on the construction process, achieving the perfect integration of intelligent construction and green construction standards, empowers on-site management with technology, and leads the creation of an upgraded version of "China Construction".
