Recently, the "Observation on the Integration of Real Numbers (2025)" released by the China Academy of Information and Communications believes that my country is gradually improving the policy system to promote the deep integration of the real economy and the digital economy, accelerating the formation of a new production relationship that is compatible with the new quality productivity, and injecting a steady stream of strong momentum into the promotion of Chinese-style modernization. From 2012 to 2024, the real-number integration development index grew by about 3 times, with an average annual growth rate of 12%.
"Industry is the main battlefield for the integrated development of real numbers." Wang Zhiqin, deputy director of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, believes that data elements are accelerating their penetration and application into the entire industrial field, forming four typical models, including basic digitalization, big data analysis, AI-driven innovation and optimization, and networked organization based on data collaboration, empowering precise decision-making and building a smoother supply and demand circulation system.
In the R&D stage, the real-number fusion drives the innovation paradigm from single-point breakthroughs to systematic change, and the fields of drugs and materials are expected to be the first to achieve new breakthroughs. For example, a technology company uses AI technology to assist in design to shorten the R&D cycle of electrolytic materials of high-energy density batteries by nearly half. In the production process, real-number fusion improves production efficiency from multiple dimensions such as quality, process, equipment, logistics, and safety, and integrates intelligent leap from peripheral perception intelligence such as inspection, distribution, and quality inspection to predict and maintain, fault diagnosis, and reduce energy consumption, and ultimately realizes comprehensive decision-making intelligence.
In addition, real-digit integration helps the manufacturing industry build an agile and fast supply chain network, using digital technology to complete automatic order tracking, logistics path optimization, etc., to improve supply chain management efficiency, and machine learning technology can adjust production plans according to changes in market demand, etc., to enhance supply chain flexibility. "A smart factory connects equipment, data and partners to achieve informatization integration of production resources, and promotes the transformation of traditional supply chains from linear chains to ecological networks." "At present, digital technologies represented by artificial intelligence are accelerating the deep integration with industry. Industrial enterprises need to use digital scenarios as the starting point, data as the core, and digital technology as the support to accelerate the application of industrial models and promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries." Zhang Jinlong, chairman of Shandong Inspur Intelligent Production Technology Co., Ltd., told reporters that the company has built an intelligent production data analysis platform for industrial production fields such as product research and development, process improvement, equipment operation and maintenance. Use the integrated application method of "big model + small model" to help industrial enterprises transform and upgrade. For example, Fujian East Asia Machinery teamed up with Inspur Intelligent Production to customize integrated visual quality inspection software and hardware equipment based on the intelligent production model, and proposed a complete solution of "defect detection - cause analysis - quality improvement", with a 50% increase in quality improvement efficiency.
As an important foundation for the deep integration of the real economy and the digital economy, the industrial Internet plays a key role in empowering the digital transformation of the industry. Data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that the scale of the core industrial Internet industry exceeded 1.5 trillion yuan in 2024, driving economic growth by nearly 3.5 trillion yuan, and integrated applications have covered 41 major industrial categories. "The National Industrial Internet Big Data Center gathers 1.4 billion industrial data and has initially built an industrial model corpus. There are more than 340 industrial Internet platforms with certain influence, and the number of industrial equipment connections on key platforms exceeds 100 million (sets). There are about 4 million companies on the cloud platform nationwide." Xie Cun, Director of the Information and Communication Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, introduced that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will take the release of large-scale application efficiency as the main line, accelerate the deep integration of industrial Internet and artificial intelligence, and provide more solid support for promoting the digital transformation of the industry.
In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will also implement the "Chain Network Collaboration" project, issue integrated application guidelines for key industries such as ships, petrochemicals, automobiles, and textiles, and select typical application cases and excellent solutions in a classified manner; promote the construction of "5G+Industrial Internet" integrated application pilot cities and 5G factories with high level and high standards, carry out the "Hundred Cities and Thousand Parks Tour" activities in depth, and accelerate the industrial Internet into parks, bases and clusters.
At present, my country is in a critical period of transforming its development model, and promoting the integration of real numbers has become the core task of building a modern industrial system.
