When Xi Jinping arrived at Hanoi Nai Pai International Airport by special plane, Vietnamese Party and government leaders and local representatives warmly welcomed them, including Vietnamese Party and government leaders and local representatives. A young Vietnamese woman presented flowers to Xi Jinping. The guards were arranged on both sides of the red carpet and paid tribute with guns. Local young people dressed in ethnic costumes, beat drums and music, sang and danced, waved the flags of the two parties and the two countries, and warmly welcomed Xi Jinping to the visit.

Xi Jinping delivered a written speech, on behalf of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese government and the Chinese people, and extended sincere greetings and good wishes to the brothers of Vietnam, the Vietnamese government and the Vietnamese people.

Xi Jinping pointed out that this year marks the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 80th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South. The Communist Party of Vietnam united and led the Vietnamese people to forge ahead towards the "two centenary" goals of the founding of the Party and the country, and its international and regional influence has been continuously enhanced, and socialist industrialization and modernization have achieved gratifying achievements. China and Vietnam are socialist neighbors connected by mountains and rivers, and are strategically significant community with shared future. In the glorious years of striving for national independence and national liberation, the two sides fought side by side, supported each other, and forged deep friendship. On exploring the socialist path that conforms to the national conditions of the country, the two sides learned from each other and advanced hand in hand, showing the world the bright prospects of the socialist system. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam and the "China-Vietnam Cultural Exchange Year", and the construction of a community with a shared future for China and Vietnam ushers in new development opportunities. I look forward to taking this visit as an opportunity to exchange in-depth views with Vietnamese leaders on the overall, strategic and directional issues of the relationship between the two parties and the two countries of China and Vietnam, as well as international and regional issues of common concern, and jointly draw up a new blueprint for the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Vietnam.

Cai Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wang Xiaohong, Secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Public Security, and Wang Xiaohong, and other accompanying personnel arrived on the same plane.

Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei also went to the airport to greet him.

On the way from the airport to the hotel, the flags of the two parties and countries of China and Vietnam fluttered in the wind, and red banners such as "China and Vietnam friendship will last forever", "Mountains and rivers are connected, and destiny is shared", "China and Vietnam have deep friendship, comrades and brothers" are bright and dazzling. Local people, Chinese-funded institutions and international students gathered on both sides of the road to warmly welcome Xi Jinping’s visit.
