The 2025 Osaka Kansai World Expo (Osaka World Expo) officially opened on the 13th. The China Pavilion held its opening ceremony that morning and officially received visitors at around 1 pm.

It started to rain heavily on the afternoon of the 13th, but the enthusiasm of visitors remained unabated. There were crowds of people in front of the China Pavilion, and the long queues waiting to enter the pavilion turned a few turns. "We visited several exhibition halls in the morning. I heard that the China Pavilion is open at 1 pm, so I came to queue up. I have been looking forward to visiting this exhibition hall." said Hiroshi Imaki, a visitor who had been waiting for about 40 minutes to enter the museum. He and his wife Rie Imaki visited the park on the previous World Expo trial run day.

"I noticed that the appearance of the China Pavilion building is very impressive and thought I must come and have a look," said Rie Imaki.

The China Pavilion covers an area of about 3,500 square meters and is one of the largest foreign self-built museums in this World Expo. The shape of the Chinese Pavilion is like a stretched Chinese calligraphy simplified, with more than a hundred famous poems and lines engraved on the facade in various fonts. "Chinese calligraphy and writing are very charming. I think the appearance of the exhibition hall reflects this charm well." Hiroshi Imaki said, "Japanese calligraphy is deeply influenced by Chinese calligraphy. In a sense, China is our teacher, so I am very interested in it."

The China Pavilion, with the theme of "Together building a community of life between man and nature - a future society of green development", has three exhibition areas: "Harmony between man and nature", "Green water and green mountains", and "Unspending". Entering the first floor lobby, a huge "text waterfall" came into view. Through the projection matrix, Chinese and Japanese characters roll from the ceiling to the ground. "Those words are as if they are flowing from the ceiling to the ground, which is very creative," said the visitor Youshan Tomoshu.

Under the "Writing Waterfall", cultural relics tell the story of China's thousand-year history and demonstrate extraordinary cultural heritage. "I have seen many exhibits with great historical value and felt the weight of Chinese history." said the visitor Yoshioka.

In the "Green Water and Green Mountains" exhibition area, the pleasant ecology of Xiamen's Fenghu Lake, the vitality of Shibadong Village in Hunan, and the ecological restoration of the Taklamakan Desert tell the world the story of "Green Water and Green Mountains are gold and silver mountains", showing and interpreting China's traditional ecological wisdom and green development concept.

One of the most eye-catching exhibits in the China Pavilion this time is the front and back soil samples collected by China's Chang'e-5 and Chang'e-6 probes. This is also the first time that the front and back soil of the moon has been exhibited around the world at a close-up comparison.

"I have always been looking forward to seeing the soil on the back of the moon. I am really happy to see it with my own eyes this time," said the visitor Kasumi Moriyama.

In addition, exhibitions such as the "Jiaolong" deep-sea diving experience cabin, a new generation of humanoid robots, large-scale multimedia dynamic images with the theme of "Twenty-Four Solar Terms", and digital dynamic scroll "Farming and Weaving Picture" also attracted visitors to stop and watch.

Masayoshi Matsumoto, vice president of the Japan World Expo Association and president of the Kansai Economic Federation, said that the China Pavilion will leave beautiful memories for visitors from all over the world. The China Pavilion fully demonstrates the charm of Chinese style and Chinese culture. For visitors, visiting the China Pavilion is an excellent opportunity to deepen their understanding and understanding of China.

The exhibition period of the Osaka World Expo will last until October 13. During the 184-day exhibition period, the China Pavilion will hold a series of activities with rich content and diverse forms.
