Xinhuanet, Beijing, April 15th. On the 14th, the first plenary meeting of the National School National Security Education Steering Committee was held in Beijing.
Representatives from the Shanghai Education and Health Party Committee, Wuhan Shipbuilding Vocational and Technical College, Jiangsu Rudong High School, China Institute of Modern International Relations, and Beijing Normal University delivered speeches on the meeting, exchanging experience, practices and work measures for national security education on campus. The meeting reviewed and passed the charter of the National School National Security Education Steering Committee and studied and deployed key tasks in 2025.
It is reported that the National School National Security Education Steering Committee is an expert organization that under the leadership of the Ministry of Education, which plays the role of research, consultation, guidance, evaluation and service in national security education and teaching in schools across the country. The first National School National Security Education Steering Committee is composed of 42 members from Beijing Normal University, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Peking University, Tsinghua University, China Center for Disease Control and Prevention and other units.
In 2025, the National School National Security Education Steering Committee will focus on the following work, including building a general course teaching alliance for college students' national security education, promoting the standardization, standardization and scientific construction of college students' national security teaching; building a national security education community for colleges and primary and secondary schools, and promoting the transformation of national security discipline professional resources into national security education in colleges and primary schools; building a number of national security education demonstration bases for colleges and primary schools, and continuously promoting the construction of a digital resource library for high-quality teaching of national security education in colleges and primary schools.
