  Xi Jinping pointed out that the traditional friendship between China and Malaysia spans thousands of years. The friendship between the two countries is nurtured in a long history, grows in cultural integration, consolidates in mutual benefit, and sublimated in the same boat through thick and thin, showing the common value pursuit of mutual exchanges with hearts, treating each other with sincerity, maintaining righteousness, and taking harmony as the most important, reflecting the historical wisdom and courage of the people of the two countries, and is a common and precious wealth of the two countries. Last year, the two sides solemnly celebrated the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. China-Malaysia relations have achieved fruitful results in the past 50 years. Both sides should continue to seize the initiative in history in the next 50 years, stand at the forefront of the times, build a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future, create more welfare for the people of the two countries, and make greater contributions to regional prosperity and stability.

  Xi Jinping put forward three opinions on building a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future.

  First, adhere to strategic autonomy and carry out high-level strategic cooperation. Both China and Malaysia insist on self-reliance and self-reliance, oppose external interference, and must continue to work together to follow the development path that is in line with their national conditions, firmly support each other in safeguarding national sovereignty, security, and development interests, and firmly grasp the future and destiny in their own hands. Promote railway-sea transport, achieve quality upgrades of "two countries and two parks", and build important Malaysian ports into important hubs of "new land-sea channel".

  The third is to inherit friendship from generation to generation and deepen exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. Carry out the "Confucian-Iran Civilization Dialogue" cooperation and work together to create a platform for civilization exchange between the two countries and even the regional level. Taking the opportunity of signing a mutual visa exemption agreement, we will vigorously carry out tourism, youth and local exchanges, deepen cooperation in culture, education, sports, film, media, etc., promote people's mutual understanding, and continue traditional friendship. China is willing to work with Malaysia to continue to carry out research on giant panda protection cooperation.

  Xi Jinping pointed out that Malaysia has set the theme of ASEAN this year as "inclusiveness and sustainability", which reflects a profound insight into the current situation. China supports Malaysia in playing the role of ASEAN as the rotating presidency of ASEAN and is willing to work with regional countries to sign the China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone upgrade protocol as soon as possible, resist "decoupling and breaking chains", "small courtyards and high walls" and excessive tariffs with openness, cooperation, respond to the jungle law of the strong in prey on the weak with peace, cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, and respond to the stability and certainty of the world with the stability and certainty of Asia.
