On the occasion of the implementation of the National Education Digitalization Strategy Action for the Three Years, the Ministry of Education and nine other departments issued the "Opinions on Accelerating the Promotion of Digitalization of Education" (hereinafter referred to as the "Opinions"), based on experience, solving problems, and continuing to deepen the national education digitalization strategic layout, and use artificial intelligence to help education change.
On April 16, the Ministry of Education held a press conference to introduce the relevant situation of promoting the digitalization of education.
Deepen the integration of resources, services and data
Over the past three years, the Ministry of Education has made breakthrough progress in implementing the national education digitalization strategy action, and has built the world's largest public education resource platform, public education service platform, and public lifelong learning platform.
In terms of integration, the "Opinions" proposes to use the national smart education public service platform as the hub to integrate high-quality platforms, resources and services at all levels, and gradually realize portal unity, resource sharing, and data integration. We gather high-quality resources around the construction of four major areas of basic education, vocational education, higher education, lifelong education and five major sections of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor. We must continue to upgrade the public service functions of the national platform. Promote "efficiently do one thing" and expand the "one-stop service" of education public services.
Zhou Dawang, Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Information Technology of the Ministry of Education, introduced that in terms of national platform upgrades, the Ministry of Education will continue to build the National Smart Education Platform 2.0 smart version. Introduce technologies such as intelligent interaction, knowledge graph, multimodal data analysis, optimize intelligent functions such as classroom evaluation and resource search, improve the "AI test field", focus on four aspects: student learning, teacher teaching, educational governance and scientific research, gather the innovative forces of high-level universities and enterprises, organize the research and development of forward-looking practical AI tools, connect to domestic general models, and help teachers and students better master AI skills.
Activate artificial intelligence to reshape the potential of education
In order to further activate the potential of artificial intelligence to reshape the education, the "Opinions" clearly state that it is necessary to comprehensively promote intelligence, adhere to moral education and people-oriented approach, and cultivate students' high-level thinking, thinking and judgment ability, and practical ability. According to the situation of technological development, adjust the layout of disciplines and majors, cultivate the basic abilities of teachers and students, and deepen the integration of artificial intelligence with scenarios such as teaching, learning, management, evaluation, and research.
Yang Zongkai, director of the Ministry of Education’s Digital Education Expert Advisory Committee and president of Wuhan University of Technology, said that we must actively build China’s education artificial intelligence model, continue to create a number of special large models in the vertical field of education, and carry out pilot applications of artificial intelligence education in an orderly manner. We must continuously deepen the integration of artificial intelligence and the entire process of education and teaching, establish typical demonstrations in discipline construction, talent training, etc., continuously improve managers' digital leadership and teachers' digital literacy, and promote teachers to use artificial intelligence to create higher-level, innovative and challenging high-quality classrooms. We must carry out general education on artificial intelligence across multiple stages to shape the core competitiveness of innovative talents who adapt to the intelligent era and control artificial intelligence.
Promote digital education to overseas

Zhou Dawang introduced that the "Opinions" proposes to continuously enhance the international influence of digital education, promote the international co-construction and sharing of digital education resources, create a digital education brand with global influence, empower the international training of talents, actively participate in the governance of global digital education, and clearly propose to build an international version of the national platform, continue to implement the "MOOC Going Overseas" action, and empower the construction of vocational education overseas projects such as the "Luban Workshop". Continue to host the World Digital Education Conference, etc., build a digital education overseas learning center, and promote China's digital education standards to become an international consensus. Through international cooperation and exchanges, we will enhance the international influence of my country's digital education and contribute Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to the global development of digital education.
