On April 10, the "2025 Asian Medical Awards (Healthcare Asia Awards 2025)" was announced in Malaysia. Aikang Group has won two awards from the organizing committee for its "one-stop" full-life cycle health management service system covering screening, diagnosis and treatment and rehabilitation: "Diagnostics Provider of the Year - China" and "Specialty Clinic of the Year - China".
Aikon won the "2025 Asian Medical Award" double award
Zhang Ligang, founder, chairman and CEO of Aikang Group, said in his speech to the award, "At present, we are at a historic moment, witnessing the unprecedented changes that artificial intelligence and precise diagnosis technology have brought to the medical service model with one's own eyes. In the future, Aikang is willing to work with all colleagues to deepen the integration of preventive medical care and health management, improve the health status of the population in Asia and even the world, and improve the quality of life."
Since its establishment in 2004, Aikon has always been committed to using innovative technology to drive the transformation of health and medical service models. Through the application of cutting-edge technologies such as genetic testing, artificial intelligence, and medical cloud computing, it has continued to deepen the layout of smart medical care, and promoted the industry to accelerate its leap towards intelligence, precision and personalization. Now it provides health management services to about 10 million people every year, becoming a digital health management group driven by artificial intelligence and based on cloud services in medical big data.
Focus on early cancer screening and chronic disease management
Maximize the value of precision prevention
Founded in 2022, Aikang Xinkang Center focuses on cardiopulmonary health management and cardiac rehabilitation, and has introduced internationally leading cardiopulmonary assessment testing equipment, CT/magnetic resonance imaging technology and medical-grade exercise training equipment. It has formed a multidisciplinary team composed of experts in five fields, including medicine, exercise science, nutrition, psychology and lifestyle, provide cardiovascular disease screening, comprehensively evaluate cardiopulmonary health status, early detection of cardiovascular risk factors, and provide personalized rehabilitation guidance and training for patients with heart disease.
In addition, Aikang has successively established Aikang Center, Aikang Children's Healthy Growth Center, Aikang Yuekai Center, and Aikang Weight Loss Clinic. Based on the routine health management services for the whole population, it has gradually tilted towards the health needs of maternal and child, the elderly, specific occupational groups and other special groups that need attention, and explored an integrated health management path from "inspection" to "management".
Cancer is the "healthy assassin" second only to cardiovascular disease. As a pioneer in the field of preventive medicine, Aikon actively planned early cancer screening as early as 2017, and launched a series of systematic detection and risk assessment services from imaging examinations to genetic testing, and with the help of artificial intelligence to provide reliable and easy solutions for early cancer detection, early diagnosis and early treatment of cancer.
iKang Beijing Central Lab
Adhere to "winning trust with quality"
Targeting international medical standards
Adhering to the concept of "winning trust with quality", Aikon has always regarded medical quality as the lifeblood of corporate development. In order to ensure the authority and accuracy of the physical examination results, all physical examination centers under Aikon are equipped with detection instruments and reagents from mainstream international brands, and the hardware conditions have sufficient accuracy and sensitivity. The Hitachi-compatible immunoassay line operated by Aikon Beijing Central Laboratory can perform approximately 13,000 tests per hour, and the Beckman Coulter AU5800 series clinical chemistry analyzers can perform approximately 24,000 tests per hour, and is equipped with Siemens one-stop immunoassay (IM) and clinical chemistry analyzers and Roche automated immunoassays to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
In 2021, four physical examination centers under Aikang (Beikang Junan Health Care International Flagship Center, Beijing Aikang Guobin Zhongguancun Physical Examination Center, Shanghai Aikang Junan Health Care International Flagship Center, and Shanghai Aikang Zhuoyue Family Medical Center) were certified by JCI, an international authoritative medical service certification agency. In 2023, Aikon Beijing Central Laboratory was accredited by the ISO15189 Laboratory of China National Accreditation Committee for Conformity Assessment (CNAS).
Continue to increase investment in cutting-edge technologies
Make high-quality medical resources more affordable
The insufficient total amount of high-quality medical resources and uneven distribution are challenges facing my country's medical and health field for a long time. The application of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data can effectively improve the screening breadth and diagnostic accuracy of diseases, greatly reduce the dependence on expert power, and benefiting high-quality medical resources to the public, has become the key to breaking the situation at this stage.
As early as 2018, AiKang fully launched the iKang AI+ plan. In 7 years, it has successively launched more than 10 artificial intelligence products covering special screenings such as fundus, breast, heart, cerebrovascular, teeth, and bones, creating a "AiKang AI matrix" that has begun to take shape.
In 2021, Aikang completed the deployment of "Medical Cloud" and established the first ten million-level user cloud platform in China's physical examination industry. So far, it has gathered about 80 million physical examination big data, consisting of physical examination cloud, imaging cloud, electrocardiogram cloud, and inspection cloud. It can cover one-stop intelligent personalized recommendations for pre-examination projects, real-time and accurate suggestions during inspection, intelligent report interpretation after inspection, and professional health management.
Aikang has also established 16 imaging video reading centers across the country. Now, every X-ray, CT, magnetic resonance, and electrocardiogram data taken by customers during Aikang's physical examination will be transmitted to the cloud in real time. The AI software deployed in the cloud will initially screen and classify the information, which can not only display the physical examination results in real time, increase accuracy through AI reading, and intelligently predict health risks. On this basis, imaging physicians judge lesions and disease risks based on these data and labels.
Based on Aikon's digital deployment, in 2023, Aikon's first AI health manager, "iKKie", was launched. The service covers all aspects before, during and after inspection, and can provide customers with a new real-time, intelligent, accurate and connected experience.
Launch IaaS Zhihui Kangyun Open Platform
Build an open smart medical ecosystem
Providing more valuable health management services with artificial intelligence and digitalization has become Aikon's core capability. In order to promote the upgrading and reconstruction of the industrial ecosystem, in December 2024, Aikon announced the establishment of the IaaS Aikon Zhihui Kang Cloud Open Platform. Through the two major systems of iKangCloud+ and iKangOS+, Aikon's artificial intelligence, genetic testing, special testing and the entire commercial operating system will be opened to third-party physical examination centers and medical institutions to build an open ecosystem.
Regarding the open platform, Zhang Ligang, founder, chairman and CEO of Aikang Group, said, "Aikang hopes to allow more peers to share smart medical care through technological innovation and collaborative sharing, and also allow high-quality health examinations and health management services to benefit more people."
