 From April 15 to 16, the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Kunming Municipal Party Committee Talent Work Leading Group jointly hosted the "Master Lecture for Children" to enter Yunnan.

  Focusing on the four themes of "new quality productivity in a piece of tea", "black technology in the field", "pursuing the energy of light", and "protecting the vitality and vitality of the earth", 8 scientists in the fields of agriculture, new energy, and biodiversity went to Kunming No. 3 Middle School, Kunming Jinkangyuan Primary School, Kunming Luquan County No. 1 Middle School, and Kunming Luquan County Ethnic Primary School, and Kunming Luquan County Ethnic Primary School, and face-to-face communication and interaction with more than 3,000 young people.

On the morning of the 15th, at Kunming No. 3 Middle School, Zhejiang University’s Qiushi special scholar and doctoral supervisor Wang Yuefei cracked the “health code” for teachers and students with the title of “Technology Innovation and the Development of China’s Tea Industry”, and explained how to use science and technology to help the traditional tea industry release strong production momentum. During the special lecture, Wan Xiaochun, a professor at Anhui Agricultural University, systematically introduced the origin, dissemination and nutritional health care functions to the students.

  On the afternoon of the 15th, Professor Hu Fengyi of Yunnan University introduced the new perennial rice variety developed and developed by himself and his team, using the hybrid rice of Academician Yuan Longping and his "Dream of Satisfaction Under the Grain". When he heard the introduction that "this new type of rice can save the annual seedling cultivation and transplanting, so that farmers can bend down less", warm applause rang out in the classroom, and the children's eyes were full of expectations.

  Shang Yi, a professor at Yunnan Normal University, transformed into "Potato Man". With the title of "Little Potato Big Wisdom", he shared his knowledge about potatoes with his classmates and introduced the "technological revolution" triggered by a little potato.

  On the morning of the 16th, Yang Deren, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University, came to Luquan County No. 1 Middle School to give the first lecture of the day to 600 junior high school students on the scene. He introduced the scientific knowledge of solar energy and photovoltaic power generation to the students, and showed the application scenarios of solar photovoltaic power generation in human life and aerospace. When the special lecture called "Survey on the Energy of Light" ended, students rushed up to ask questions around the academicians, and were enthusiastic.

  Zhou Ying, the winner of the Youth Science Foundation Project (Class A) and vice president of Southwest Petroleum University, shared the development history, working principles, challenges and development vision of solar synthetic fuels, and led the children to explore the mystery of "solar synthetic fuels" and experience the "magical transformation of solar energy."

  On the afternoon of the 16th, in the special lecture on "Protecting the Vitality and Vitality of the Earth", Zhang Keqin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a professor at Yunnan University, shared with his classmates the biologic control strategies he studied with his classmates with vivid stories, and explored the huge potential of microorganisms in green prevention and control of agricultural production.

  Qi Xiaoguang, a professor at Northwest University, introduced the social organization and individual activities of the golden monkey to more than 600 primary school students in Luquan County Ethnic Primary School in humorous and witty language, and uncovered the mystery of the social evolution of primates.

  As soon as the lecture ended, many elementary school students quickly gathered around Qi Xiaoguang and asked him to write a message to himself.
