Yemeni Houthi claim to launch a strike against Israel and two U.S. aircraft carriers

According to foreign media reports, Yemen's Houthi armed forces said on the 21st local time that they were responsible for two drone attacks in southern Israeli cities and their strikes on two US aircraft carriers.

Houthi spokesman Sariya reportedly said in a statement that the attack on Israel was to support the Palestinian people and to oppose “crimes committed” in the Gaza Strip with the support of the United States.

Sariya said that the Houthi forces used two cruise missiles and two drones to strike the USS Truman and its affiliated vessels in the northern Red Sea, while using three cruise missiles and four drones to operate the USS Calvinson aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea.

At present, Israel and the US military have no response to this.

According to previous reports, the United States has carried out large-scale air strikes on the Houthi armed forces in Yemen since March 15, and the Houthi armed forces subsequently launched a strike on US aircraft carriers and their accompanying ships.
