According to the CBS website, Lavrov said in a CBS TV program that Russia and the United States continue to maintain contact on the Ukraine issue, and there are signs that the two sides are ending the conflict and moving in the right direction.
Asked about the latest round of air strikes on Ukraine, Lavrov said: "The attacks are only targeted at military targets or civilian places used by the military."
Previously, Russia and Ukraine alleged that the other side had not complied with the proposal of a temporary Easter ceasefire and both expressed their willingness to continue to carry out military operations.
