On April 24, the 4th China International Software Development Conference hosted by the China Software Industry Association was held in Beijing. This conference is themed "Artificial Intelligence and Software Change" to deeply explore the two-way empowerment of artificial intelligence and software. Xie Shaofeng, chief engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Wang Ning, president of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, Ding Tao, chief scientist of the National Energy Group, Cheng Xiaoming, chairman of the Open Atom Open Source Foundation and other guests attended.

  In his speech, Wang Huaimin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and chairman of the China Software Industry Association, said that it is a critical period for artificial intelligence to profoundly transform the software industry. The successful convening of the 4th Soft Development Conference will gather the forces of all parties in government, industry, academia and research, promote the high-quality development of the industry through innovative practices, and inject new impetus into completing the goals of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and building a modern industrial system.

  International partners such as the Asian Chamber of Commerce for International Trade and Investment, Japan Information Service Industry Association, etc. sent congratulatory letters, demonstrating China's vision of global cooperation in software industry. Many experts and scholars from the academic community, industry organizations, and industry have conducted in-depth discussions on hot topics such as big models, industry digital applications, and software industry changes, providing constructive opinions and practical experience to promote the high-quality development of the software industry.

  The first list of 39 expert committee members of the 8th Council Expert Committee of the China Software Industry Association was officially announced at the meeting, and the Data Security Branch of the China Software Industry Association, the Gaussian Database Ecology Committee and the Data and Digital Economy Branch were established to inject new strength into the development of the industry.

  At the same time, the launch ceremony for the construction of the China Software Edition Library (Planning) and collection of collections was officially held. Participants witnessed the historic moment of preparation and establishment of the national software cultural heritage. The establishment of the China Software Edition Library will fill the gap in the professional platform for the protection of domestic software cultural heritage, and will also open up the path of coordinated advancement between industrial development and cultural construction.

  This conference lasts for two days, promoting in-depth dialogue and practical exploration of the industry through a multi-dimensional activity structure. An innovative achievement press conference and six parallel forums were held, the "2024 China Software Industry Development Achievements Compilation" was released, and a high-tech exhibition was held to focus on displaying hard-core technologies such as chip design, full-stack AI development platform and cloud-native security system, and comprehensively outline the innovation picture of the software industry in the era of artificial intelligence. More than 1,200 representatives from relevant business departments of national ministries and commissions, local industry management units, well-known software companies across the country, local software industry associations, universities, research institutions and related industry organizations attended the meeting.
