Xinhua News Agency, Moscow, April 26 (Reporter Liu Kai and Dai Weiwei) The original dance drama "Wing Chun" created and rehearsed by the Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theater of China was performed at the Bolshoi Theater of Russia from the 25th to the 26th. The beauty of the fusion of Chinese Kung Fu and dance amazed Russian audiences.
During the two-hour performance, the young dancers showed the unique charm of Chinese traditional culture with their dance postures and high spirits.
When the dance drama came to an end, warm and long-lasting applause rang out in the Bolshoi Theater. "I like this drama so much! I practice Chinese martial arts myself, but I have never seen works that interpret Chinese Kung Fu in such a novel way." said Abdrahmanova.
“The vitality and emotion shown in this performance touched me deeply, and it was hard to describe it. The Chinese dancers were amazed by everyone with their exquisite martial arts and dance performance skills, and the excellent musical accompaniment further enhanced the artistic effect,” said Torstoguzova, a Russian BRICS TV staff member. “I’m glad that the Russian audience had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the story of Ip Man and learn more about the style of Wing Chun.”
After performing at the Bolshoi Theatre, Wing Chun will also be debuted at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg from April 30 to May 1. The show is planned to perform six shows in Russia.
According to reports, "Wing Chun" has been performed in Singapore, the United Kingdom, France and other countries, and the response has been enthusiastic.
