The differentiated quantum computing industry ecosystem is gradually constructed

Quantum mechanics is one of the most important scientific discoveries since the 20th century. The establishment of quantum mechanics gave birth to the first quantum revolution, brought about major technological breakthroughs such as lasers, transistors, and nuclear magnetic resonance, and changed our lives. Entering the 21st century, the second wave of the quantum revolution is coming. Based on the superposition and entanglement characteristics of quantum, a number of emerging technologies such as quantum computing, quantum communication, and quantum measurement will greatly change and improve the way and ability of humans to obtain, transmit and process information.

If quantum technology is compared to an "aircraft", then quantum computing is equivalent to the "engine" of the aircraft, quantum communication is equivalent to the "radio" of the aircraft, and quantum measurement is equivalent to the "radar" of the aircraft. Quantum computing refers to the use of quantum technology to obtain stronger computing power, quantum communication refers to the use of quantum technology to obtain safer communication, and quantum measurement refers to the use of quantum technology to obtain more accurate measurements.

In recent years, under the guidance of national strategies, China's quantum computing industry has formed a regional coordinated development pattern. Relying on scientific research advantages, policy support and industrial foundations, various places have gradually built a differentiated quantum computing industry ecosystem. Relying on the scientific research advantages of the University of Science and Technology of China, Anhui has gathered more than 70 quantum technology companies and is building a pilot zone for the future industry in Hefei Quantum Technology Province. Relying on scientific research resources and high-end application scenarios, Beijing, Shanghai and other places are accelerating the demonstration application of quantum technology in the fields of finance, medical care, etc.

Now, China has become the third country in the world to have the ability to deliver quantum computers, and is located in the first echelon of the global quantum computing track. Taking the third-generation superconducting quantum computer independently developed by my country as an example, it is equipped with a 72-bit autonomous superconducting quantum chip "Wukong Core" that can issue and perform computing tasks of up to 200 quantum lines at one time. It is currently the most advanced programmable and delivered superconducting quantum computer in China. The "Benyuan Wukong" development team has completed the independent research and development of many key points such as quantum chips, measurement and control systems, environmental support systems, and operating systems in a full stack, and has basically built my country's first superconducting quantum computer manufacturing chain.
